Anime Review

Chapter 1: "Izuku Midoriya: Origin" Chapter 1 of My Hero Academia, "Izuku Midoriya: Origin," introduces us to the main character, Izuku Midoriya. The chapter opens with a flashback to Izuku's childhood, where he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. However, his dreams are shattered when he discovers that he is "quirkless," meaning he has no superpowers like almost everyone else in his world.

Despite this setback, Izuku refuses to give up on his dream of becoming a hero. He studies tirelessly, reading every hero comic and book he can get his hands on, and even writes down notes on the strengths and weaknesses of various heroes. He also spends hours analyzing their techniques and powers, hoping to find some way to become a hero without a quirk.

The chapter then moves to the present day, where Izuku is a high school student trying to navigate the challenges of life without a quirk. He is bullied by his classmate, Katsuki Bakugo, who constantly belittles him and tells him that he can never be a hero. Despite this, Izuku remains determined to prove Katsuki wrong.

One day, Izuku saves Katsuki from a villain attack, and in the process, he catches the attention of All Might, who is impressed by his bravery and determination. All Might reveals to Izuku that he too was once quirkless, but he was able to gain his powers through a secret quirk called "One For All."

Inspired by All Might's words, Izuku asks him to train him to become a hero, to which All Might agrees. The chapter ends with Izuku receiving All Might's quirk and realizing that his dream of becoming a hero may not be so far-fetched after all.

Overall, Chapter 1 sets up the premise of My Hero Academia and establishes Izuku as a relatable protagonist who overcomes challenges and adversity to pursue his dream of becoming a hero.
