Marvel’s Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy’s Future is Uncertain After Embracer Group Purchase

Last week, fans of Square Enix’s western IP such as Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, and Sleeping Dogs may have been shocked to learn that the company is selling these IPs and the developers to Embracer Group, the company that currently owns publishers such as Deep Silver and THQ Nordic. The sale for $300 million will include around 50 legacy IP from Square Enix’s western branches, as well as some of its most beloved studios such as Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.
