Set after the occasions of Xenoblade Chronicles (2010) and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (2017), Xenoblade Chronicles 3 takes place on the earth of Aionios, the place the mechanically proficient nation of Keves and the ether-oriented nation of Agnus are at fixed struggle with each other. The wars are fought by engineered troopers with artificially restricted lifespans of ten years, all ten of that are spent on fighting. Among each forces are “off-seers”, troopers who play particular flutes to mourn the passing of the lifeless.
