Game Review: Fallout 4

Game Review

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin with Fallout 4! It is without a doubt the most amazing and well-designed game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I mean, who wouldn't want to go adventuring in a world where the inhabitants have been altered by radiation and mutated creatures? Because the images are so lifelike, I had the impression that I was really living in a desert wasteland. I wish I could say that I could feel the radiation slowly poisoning my body, but it's not quite the same.

The plot is just incredible to follow. I absolutely adored the fact that it seemed as though the decisions I made genuinely mattered and had an effect on the world around me. The characters were really well-developed and displayed a great deal of psychological complexity. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend many hours doing favors for NPCs who don't even bother to give you a decent thank you for their assistance?

The gameplay in the battle system is very stunning. I really enjoyed the fact that it seemed like I was battling with a potato gun while my opponent had a tank that was fully loaded. It was a great addition to the difficulty of the situation, and it taught me to value each and every one of my bullets. The fact that the adversaries would just freeze in place and wait for me to shoot them in the head was another feature that I really like. It made things far more plausible, that's for sure.

Another standout feature of the game was its extensive crafting system. My favorite part was being able to spend hours on end amassing resources and constructing a stronghold that no one would ever see. That gave me the distinct impression that I was a part of this world and that the choices I made were having an impact on things. The fact that I could spend all of my hard-earned resources on constructing a bed that I would never even get to enjoy because raiders would constantly attack it was one of my favorite aspects of the game.

Another aspect of the game that stood out to me was how buggy it was. It was a lot of fun to experience things like my character becoming stuck in a wall or the game freezing up at a vital moment in the action. It was a great addition to the adventure as a whole, and it helped me enjoy it much more when the game was actually functioning correctly.

In addition, the soundtrack was outstanding. That was so cool how whenever I went to a different location, the same two songs would play on endless loop for as long as I was there. It was incredibly helpful in setting the tone, and it gave me the impression that I was going crazy.

Another standout feature was the game's loading screens. The fact that they would take so long that I could go make a sandwich, eat it, and come back to find that it was still loading was one of my favorite aspects of the experience. It was a great boost to the excitement of knowing that I would soon be able to play the game once more.

In its entirety, Fallout 4 is a brilliant work. It is the pinnacle of gaming and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the delight of spending numerous hours on a game that would ultimately leave them feeling unfulfilled. Because it is the pinnacle of gaming, it is truly the pinnacle of gaming.
